I’m Rivkah/ Rebecca and I have been homeschooling for 5 years (Going on our 6th this year) I have 4 children ages 8-1
I am definitely eclectic there are a lot of elements from different methods that appeal to me, Funnily enough although I lean towards CM’s way of teaching I have been a pretty traditional homeschooler up until this point and have been slowly changing things up. I think this year is going to be a drastic change for us.
I started homeschooling because I really felt led by God to do so. I had no intention of doing it and then started entertaining the idea. Finally I asked a friend what she thought only to find out she had been homeschooling for 4 years already and the conference was coming up in just a few months! I decided to go while the children were still young enough for me to figure out if it was definitely for our family and we have never looked back!
