Help! We have decided to do 2 unit studies over the summer and the kids have decided on a bug unit and a space unit. Kiddos are almost 4 and 7. Anyone have any suggestions for something they have used? Thanks!
We used the unit studies based on Eric Carle books for bugs (they have loads of resources for older students as well if you need something more challenging for your older child) and the space unit studies from www.homeschoolshare.com.
Hi Paige-

Hi we have just completed a wonderful unit from teacherspayteachers.com. I think it was called “Our Solar System” by Stephanie Trapp. My boys aged 3,5 and 6 were really engaged by it and learnt a lot. It was easily adaptable for all the ages and my elder two were able to read books on the topics too for added info. It cost a few dollars I think from memory but I felt it was really worth it as it covered english and maths along with the science for a while hole weeks worth of work that we spread over a few weeks.
