We are considering switching from abeka to BJU this fall for my 5th grader. We’ve stuck with abeka for 5 years now and kind of getting bored with it. It also seems a bit repetitive. Any thoughts?

@Libbmeister I can’t speak to Abeka’s curriculum, because I haven’t used the Language Arts portion at all. But we ARE using BJU English and I like the way it is set up. Two weeks of Grammar and then two weeks of writing, which is broken down into manageable steps.
I also like BJU for language. I liked the setup but it just wasn’t a good fit for us. We are switching to IEW next year but I think BJU is a really solid program.
I used it with a 3rd and 5th grader this year.
