So even though we are in the beginning of our year, like many, I’m sure, I am already thinking about next year, we like to buy our curriculum Dec/Jan. I have decided that we will for sure switch to BJU from Abeka in English…Not liking Abeka much this year. But I’m wondering about Math. Kiddo is doing okay and learning, but it’s SO much drill and memorizing…she’s getting it, but not excited about it like she used to. This year we are in 2nd grade work which is a year ahead (she is 1st grade age wise but working at a 2nd grade level) so if we were to maybe re-do 2nd grade to make the switch easier we can. Has anyone made the switch go from Abeka to BJU in math???

Thanks! Luckily we just have one kiddo, so the hands on stuff isnt too big of a deal like grading and such and since we will be doing just straight out of the textbook we can tweak as needed… thank you for your response!!!
