I will be using Old World History and Geography from Abeka next summer. I don’t know which complements are needed. Is the Places of the Early History with Uncle Bob CD necessary? And what about the Eastern Hemisphere Map Skill Cards? I will use this material with my younger kids also, so I want to make it interesting. I will buy the teacher manual and the Maps A, but was undecided about the CD and the Cards. I have noticed that many items listed as “optional” are really needed at the end. Have you used this curriculum? What materials are required?
