Looking into building my own curriculum. Any advice on best options and things to avoid?
I am currently in the same shoes as you, this is my second year to homeschool and my son will be entering the 6th grade. I felt like last year was not as great as I wanted but probably better than I expected our first year to be, so there is that!
I am trying to plan our year but as much as doing everything online is convient I want to use some traditional books so we have that time together.
I think I have decided on timberdoodle. It’s prwtty expensive, but seems to have most things I am looking for. I have heard several good things about it for younger grades and I haven’t read any bad reviews. Praying his is a better fit than switched on school house.
