My daughter tried Wordly Wise, which is a great program for typically developing kids. But with her learning challenges, attaching several definitions to one word was too confusing. Is there another program that might be helpful but doesn’t require a lot of context reading?
Marie’s Words are pretty cool. They use pictures to explain what the words mean. It doesn’t have any reading at all, and there are no multiple definitions. Just basically flashcards with the words drawn into a picture to help them remember what it means. You might want to look into them.
Have you tried Linguisystems? You can usually find them used on Amazon or eBay.
