I am trying to plan out our schedule for next year. I will have a 3rd grader and 2 in 1st grade. I am thinking I will teach them together for Science and Health, and separately for History. My question is, does the Abeka curriculum cover the entire year for these subjects?
The third grade books are planned to be done in one semester. Science is done during the first semester of the year, and History during the second. The Health book is done during reading time 4 days a week. The Science curriculum has 75 lessons, Health 82 lessons, and History 89 lessons. The first grade History book could be done in a couple of months if it is used daily. It is one of the books used during activity time along with the Science, Health and community helpers books.
